Visual Inspiration: Christmas

Christmas is only 4 days away, and I have yet to post one Christmas/winter nail art design or art project! I searched Flickr for some inspiration, and I came across these photos to share with you. If they inspire a project or design for you, please put a link in the comments section to a photo of your work so I can check it out!

(These photos are all from a Flickr search for “Christmas” filtered by Creative Commons license, with ability to be used for commercial purposes.)

This is a Swarovski Christmas tree, and I like how you can see the sparkles in the photo, as well as the motion blur which turns it into a fuzzy striped/woven pattern

The colorful fern/lacy look with the amber against black is so striking!

Christmas Card Ornaments

Yesterday I cut up a card the local Hallmark store sent last month. It had pictures of ornaments that I cut out and put up on the wall. Later I will probably use a hole punch so I can add ribbon and hang them like real ornaments.

I’ll punch holes and tie thin ribbon on them to make real ornaments later on.
